Vector is a smart home robot that you can fit in your palm. It’s the big brother to Cozmo.
It’s smarter, more intelligent and doesn’t need a connection to a device. It can map out its environment using its camera and can even remember where items are.
Vector is an always-on, cloud-connected, fully autonomous robot. Anki says that rather than an application that waits for you to interact with it, it’s instead an extension of your family that is excited to see you each day.
Vector interacts freely with its surroundings and the people in it while offering helpful voice control functions. It can identify users and meet new people, responding differently to each person in response to how they act towards it.
Anki Vector is available in October for $249, but if you pre-order now you’ll receive a 20% discount on Kickstarter until Sept. 6.
