Sarina Hergarten has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Sarina currently holds the position of Chief People Officer at Getsafe, where they are involved in creating a world-class insurance experience through their technological platform. Prior to this, Sarina worked as a P&O Advisor as a self-employed professional, investing in and supporting HR Tech Start-Ups.
Sarina also has experience at Trade Republic, where they served as the People Function Leader. In this role, they were responsible for building, growing, and running the People Function department, overseeing talent acquisition, programs, business partnering, and international operations. During their time at Trade Republic, they played a crucial role in scaling the company from 50 to over 750 employees in just 2.5 years.
Before Trade Republic, Sarina worked at sennder in various roles, including Director People, Director HRBP & People Programs, and Team Lead HR & Recruiting. Sarina also held a position as the People Lead at Frachtraum.com, where they were responsible for building and leading the People Team and implementing HR and talent acquisition processes.
