Telefonica Innovation celebrates the key hires for the Director of Predicting Human Behaviour & Director of Customer Centric Networking

Telefonica’s Product I+D Team welcomes two critical hires to lead the divisions for Customer Centric Networking and Predicting Human Behaviour.

For almost 20 years Patrick Lopez has been involved with pioneering technologies across fixed, mobile, video and cloud technologies. Reporting into the CEO of Telefonica I+D, as Director of the Customer Centric Networking division, Patrick will be in charge of managing and mentoring a team of ‘Intrapreneurs’ responsible for building innovative services and products for Telefonica’s 320 million+ customers.

Angela Shen-Hsieh has been recruited from IBM Watson where she was an advisor for emerging technologies, which included cognitive, AI and Machine Learning based solutions. At Telefonica she will manage and mentor a team of ‘Intrapreneurs’ using techniques such as Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence and build innovative products and services for Telefonica’s customers.
